Experts recommend that it is best to change the oil filter at the same time as the oil change, i.e., every 10,000 kilometers. In addition, at this point, you should also rotate the tires if necessary, and then continue to rotate the tires every 10,000 km.This timeline is particularly accurate for vehicles that travel approximately 20-30 km per day with the engine oil continuously heated. In contrast, for cars that only travel less than 20 km a day, the oil should be changed at an earlier time. The reason is that because the car operates less, the amount of oil left behind will be greater. Over time, it may form clumps that adversely affect the engine, so it is necessary to change the oil earlier than with cars that operate a lot.

Replace the engine air filter after 30,000 - 40,000 km

In principle, the air filter has the effect of bringing clean air into the combustion chamber to increase ignition efficiency, thereby ensuring smooth operation of the engine. If the air filter has been clogged with dust for an extended period of time, the amount of air entering the engine compartment will be reduced, making the car feel rough or consume more fuel than usual.After every 30,000 kilometers, the engine air filter and air conditioner filter will get dirty and clogged, affecting the operation of the engine and your health. After 30,000 km, you should change the engine air filter and air conditioner filter to make the engine run smoother and save fuel, and to help the air conditioning system work properly and protect your health.According to the usual recommendation of car manufacturers, customers should change the air filter every 30,000–40,000 kilometers of use.This factor, however, will be determined by each individuals usage process. Therefore, when going for regular maintenance, if the air filter is too dirty, car users should change it immediately to ensure that everything works smoothly.
